As anyone who’s been out to a local arena or ball diamond can attest, we Canadians love to compete. And, not surprisingly, so do our dogs. From Lure Coursing, Field Trials, Tracking and Herding to Agility, Rally Obedience, Conformation and more, Canadian dogs are in it to win it.
The CKC plays a central role in administrating, supporting and promoting these sports. As the largest governing body for dog shows and trials in Canada, we qualify judges and sanction the rules and regulations for events right across the country.
On our site you can learn more about the various events we govern, review recent results, look for available priority dates, find a judge to preside at your show or trial and check the details on coming events anywhere in Canada. You can also check out the prestigious Top Dog results for Conformation, Agility, Obedience and Field Dogs.
CKC governed events offer a wonderful opportunity for dogs and their owners to showcase their incredible skills, training and abilities. We encourage Canadians to get out and support their local clubs and have fun watching these amazing animals perform.
XXClub is a national, member-based non-profit organization, incorporated under the Animal Pedigree Act of Canada. It provides registry services for all officially recognized breeds of purebred dogs.
